This field of law concerns flight, air travel, and associated legal and business concerns. In some cases, aviation law overlaps with Admiralty Law and in other cases it is considered a matter of International Law.
ICAO provides general rules and mediates international concerns to an extent regarding aviation law.
In the US, the FAA governs applied aspects of flight, and the NTSB investigates accidents.
